Bio: Sarah comes to us from Orange County California where she has worked over the last 9 years as a climbing and youth programs manager at some of the largest gyms in Southern California. She has built from the ground up two separate climbing teams and helped to create community focused youth climbing programs. As a head coach she saw her kids win USA Climbing Regional Championships 3 consecutive years. With a degree in Kinesiology and as a NASM certified Youth Exercise Specialist trainer, Sarah develops specific training programs for her athletes to reach their goals and become life long climbers.

Suzu

Bio: Suzu holds a BS in Education from Northern Arizona University. After teaching in traditional classroom setting, Suzu realized that many, if not all, of the lessons she learned was through experience, through traveling for competition and outdoor climbing. She now uses her degree to teach through the physical and mental strength learned through experiences and community in climbing. Suzu has been coaching since 2009 at various climbing gyms across the country leading several kids to Nationals Level Championships. As a sponsored Mad Rock athlete she has competed in multiple international level Championships competing for Team USA in 2008, 2010 and 2016 in sport climbing and speed climbing. She uses her personal experiences as a competitor and as a routesetter to guide and push the team she coaches. You can see Suzu in action in the Mad Rock video  “Defined by Passion

Bio: Chad holds a degree in Kinesiology from California State University Long beach. After years of climbing and coaching Chad has led many of his students to World Championships. Also as a routesetter, Chad brings a perceptive eye to training youth to become top tier technical climbers. As a previously accomplished competition climber, competing in one of the earliest series, PCA,  Chad brings a unique, historical perspective to the next generation of youth climbers. Also a competitor in the 2005 World Cup Chad has experience in all disciplines of Sport, Bouldering and Speed climbing at the competition level.
