|Übergrippen is a brand new indoor climbing facility that opened in Stapleton in June 2017 and serves the entire NE Denver community. We are central to all of NE Denver and NW Aurora. Our facility will be within a 5-10 minute drive of Stapleton, Lowry, Park Hill, Montclair, Hilltop, Hale, East Colfax, Congress Park, City Park, Cherry Creek, and the Fitzsimmons Medical Center Campus.
We provide a state-of-the-art climbing wall with approximately 16,000 square feet of climbing surface including top rope, lead climb, auto-belay and bouldering divided into 4 unique and separate climbing areas. Our center piece is our 40+ foot tall climbing walls with both lead and top rope. There is a dedicated family climbing area (“The Alcove”) with 30 foot tall walls with top rope and auto belays that are used for after school programs, summer camps, and birthday parties. A area specific for classes, special programs, and other group events has 35 foot tall walls with top rope, lead climb, and auto belay. Finally, there is extensive bouldering offered with 16 foot high boulder routes.
In addition to the amazing climbing, we have a full fitness area with cardiovascular and strengthening equipment. Classes for yoga, spinning and other exciting fitness classes are offered to those who want a more well rounded fitness experience. Ninja-warrior style apparatus is offered for those who seek the ultimate challenge.
At Übergrippen there is a complete offering of classes and training that will introduce first time climbers to the sport as well as bring experienced climbers to the next level. The classes are open for the our members and guests.
Our youth programs include competitive youth climbing teams, recreational climbing clubs, after school programs for elementary school aged kids, summer camps, school closure child care, parent’s night out, and supervised kids climbing and childcare [COMING FALL 2017] (for when parents are at the facility).
