Arrival

Before you arrive at Übergrippen:

• Make sure you completed the Quiz for these lessons.
• You’ll want to your parents to sign our online Waiver.
• It’s important that you arrive 10-15 minutes early.

When you arrive at Übergrippen: 

• Our staff will check you in and make sure you had a parent sign you waiver.
• Then you will be provided a climbing harness and helmet. 
• You will be broken up into (2) groups of six. 
  • One group will be taken to our belay ledge to learn how to rappel. 
  • The other group will be taken to another section of a climbing wall to learn to climb and belay. 
  • Each group gets ~90 mins to complete their tasks and then will switch roles.

Tips for Scout Leaders:

• • • Time will be a factor to get each scout 3 climbs, 3 belays, and 3 repels. 
    • It will be important to help us keep the scouts on track.
