7) Knots

Demonstrate tying the following knots and their uses in climbing:

Figure Eight on a Bight:

Used for creating a secure loop in the rope.

Figure Eight Follow-Through:

Used for tying into the harness.

Water Knot:

Used for tying webbing or tape.

Double Fisherman’s Knot:

Used for joining two ropes.

Prusik:

Used as hitch to wrap around a rope as a backup.
