These are the positions for which we typically hire:

  • Team Leaders: Full-time positions for passionate and engaging people who are willing to work with climbers of all ages and abilities. These leadership roles may include program administration, shift leadership, instruction (youth and adult), coaching, etc.
  • Team Members: Part-time positions for people that are excited about climbing and have a strong desire to learn more and share their stoke with our community! Duties include a mix of teaching, customer service, and facility upkeep.
  • Youth Coaches: Previous USAC experience is desired (coaching and/or competing) and a love for developing youth climbers.
  • Route Setters: Previous commercial setting experience is desired (USAC certification a plus, but not mandatory).

Required certifications:
All positions require every employee to have and maintain both CPR & First Aid certification and Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI) certification through the CWA. Both courses are provided through ÜG. A modified version of both of these courses will be taught to those under 18 years of age, but no certificate is given.
