1. Introduction

Welcome to Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag (“Übergrippen,” “we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, facilities, programs, and participation in all climbing and fitness-related activities offered by Übergrippen.

By accessing our website, entering our facility, or participating in any activity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services or facilities.

2. Assumption of Risk

Climbing, bouldering, training, fitness activities, and related programs involve inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to:

  • Falls, collisions, or impacts with walls, holds, pads, or equipment
  • Equipment failure or improper use
  • Personal injury, including serious injury or death
  • Overexertion or physical strain

By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with climbing and training activities at Übergrippen.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag, its owners, employees, instructors, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

  • Personal injury or death
  • Property damage or theft
  • Participation in climbing or fitness activities
  • Use of the facility, equipment, or services

This release applies even if such claims arise from negligence on the part of Übergrippen.

4. Safety Rules & Facility Use

All guests agree to follow posted rules and staff instructions at all times. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Proper use of climbing equipment
  • Belaying only if properly trained and/or certified
  • Use of appropriate safety equipment (e.g., harnesses, helmets where required)
  • Respecting climbing areas, routes, and other participants

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any individual who violates safety rules or behaves in a dangerous manner.

5. Memberships, Day Passes & Payments

  • All memberships, passes, and services are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
  • Fees are subject to change at any time
  • Payments must be completed prior to participation unless otherwise arranged
  • No refunds will be issued except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing

6. Minors

Minors under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to participation.

Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for the minor’s participation and associated risks.

7. Waiver Requirement

All participants must sign a liability waiver before using the facility. Entry into the climbing gym or participation in any program constitutes acceptance of that waiver and these Terms.

8. Equipment Use

All rental and facility equipment must be used as intended. You are responsible for:

  • Inspecting equipment before use
  • Reporting damage or malfunction immediately
  • Returning rental equipment in acceptable condition

Improper use may result in liability for damages.

9. Photography & Media

We may take photographs or video recordings within the facility for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes.

By entering the facility, you consent to the use of your likeness unless you notify us in writing prior to participation.

10. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other climbers.

We prohibit:

  • Unsafe climbing practices
  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Aggressive or disruptive behavior
  • Substance use that impairs judgment

Violation may result in removal without refund.

11. Website Use

Content on this website is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of information at all times.

You may not copy, distribute, or misuse website content without permission.
