All members that sign up before our grand opening are entitled to these benefits.

Members-Only First Climbs FREE
Free members-only access during the soft opening period (between ~10 to 15 days leading up to official Grand Opening) for you to be one of the very first members to scuff our walls.

  • Soft Opening period will have limited evening and weekend hours of operation and no fitness/yoga classes will be offered

Back Stage Pass
First priority reservation for member + 1 guest to attend an ÜG Hard Hat Tours during final 2 months of construction (there will be limited availability with those that sign-up first getting preferred access.)

Guaranteed admission to our Grand Opening Party
Consider this a VIP pass to join our party where you’ll be able to skip any lines and come directly in to climb.

VIP Access to Soft Opening
The first 250 members get priority reservations during our soft opening.

ÜG Swag
You’ll be given a ÜG First Ascent t-shirt and free ÜG stickers to adorn your car, water bottle, or laptop!

Family memberships get 2 free t-shirts of your choosing with additional shirts (and free chalk) available for an additional $20 each (or 2 for $30).

First month membership fee does not bill until the first Monday following the Grand Opening (prorated for first month).

Guaranteed lowest monthly membership rate and membership rate is locked for the first 3 years.

Exclusive access to members-only events during Übergrippen’s Grand Opening including our member’s comp.

Special 30% off Climbing Gear Discount
We have a unique deal with Edelrid that is special only for UG members. During our first month after opening, all of Edelrid gear (ropes, harnesses, brake assist belay devices, etc) are all 30% off. This is a great opportunity to gear up with everything you need.

Additional ÜG Benefits

All members will always be entitled to these benefits.

2 locations for price of 1
After the official ÜG Castle Rock Grand Opening, then members at Castle Rock will be able to climb at Denver, and Denver will be able to climb at Castle Rock for no additional cost.

2 Free Hours of Instruction:

  • Learn to Climb Class
    Our two-hour Learn to Belay class will teach you all the technical skills you need to start climbing on your own. This is an amazing class that will help you learn how to belay and maximize your experience with our facilities, as well as any other climbing facilities, too.
  • School of Rock
    Our School of Rock classes provide a comprehensive offering of climbing classes for adults and teens (15+) that you can tailor for your personal objectives! Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned veteran looking to fine-tune your craft, we have classes specifically to help you understand how to improve your climbing.

Discounted Gear Rental
Don’t own your own gear? No problem, you can add gear rental to your membership for $25/month for an individual or $50/month for a duo or family membership (this covers everyone on your membership).

Free Guest Passes
1 free guess pass per visit for any guest you bring that has never been to Übergrippen before (limit 1 per day). Your guest also receives 1/2 price gear rental on their first visit.

Yoga and fitness classes
Unlimited access to any of our fitness classes.

10% Dividend Earned
Just like REI, qualifying retail purchases earn you a 10% credit that is returned quarterly and can be applied to future retail purchases.

Kids 5 and under are FREE
With an adult member or paying guest.

Discounts on Youth Programs
This includes our camps, climbing clubs, parties, parents night out, and other youth program offerings.

Priority Enrollment
For high demand special events, programs, classes, camps, etc. Enrollment will be open to members before it opens to the public. Members are given priority for wait lists as well!

Boulder @ The Spot
Übergrippen Member Night at The Spot Bouldering (available in any of the 4 locations including Boulder, Denver, Golden, and Louisville). ÜG members get FREE ENTRY on the 4th Friday of every month!
