Challenge yourself to climb a MILE!
Starting May 1st, this is your opportunity to challenge yourself and climb 1 full vertical mile (5280 feet!). You are welcome to climb any roped or auto belay routes that you want – the level of difficulty is not factored into this challenge.
Leaderboards are broken up by age. The results are alphabetized and arranged by completion percentage/completion date. Please let us know if you have any questions or see any typos!
Mile High Climbing Challenge
- To climb 1 mile (5280 ft), a climber must climb 132 routes.
- Tally board will be posted in the crag where you’ll be able to mark off your climbs.
- Auto belay routes count towards your vertical feet.
- COMMON CLIMBING COURTESY:
- If anyone (adult or child) is standing wanting your climb (roped or auto belay), please trade off with them and give them a chance to climb that route – it’s never nice to hog climbing routes.
- Honor System: You’ll be tracking your own climbs.
- 1 climb = climbing up or down the wall.
- Climbs count in both our Denver & Castle Rock locations.
- Climbs will ONLY be scored in Denver, so please remember how many you did if you climb in Castle Rock.
Challenge Deadline: June 1st.
