Counselor In Training:
The Application
Welcome to ÜG – Denver’s Counselor In Training program! This summer, 2 CIT’s per week, ages 13 & 14 will have the opportunity to learn from the pros; From our CampGrippen Counselors as they shadow and have an opportunity to lead a group of up to 10 campers through some activities around the Crag!
Counselors In Training should treat this program as their FIRST JOB. We commonly hire last year’s CITs as camp counselors in the future, so this may be their best shot at getting hired as a counselor at ÜG – Denver.
Counselor In Training Application Process:

- Step 3: Attend Training Week(s)
Counselors In Training will have the opportunity to learn:
- Leadership skills
- Group management skills
- CPR & First Aid skills
- and much, much more.
Counselors In Training will receive:
- A CampGrippen t-shirt
- 2 snacks and lunch each day
- A free summer membership from June 1st – August 31st
Program Pricing:
$125 per week of training
*Counselors In Training have the opportunity to sign up for a maximum of 2 weeks per summer.
**There will be a $25 rescheduling fee charged if weeks need to be rescheduled.
