ÜG’s Crag Akademie (ages 6-13) is a 10 week program that hopes to inspire and empower every climber to reach new heights, both on and off the wall. We strive to create a supportive and challenging environment where climbers can develop confidence, technique, and a lifelong passion for the sport. One of our key goals is to ensure that every climber learns how to belay and can successfully pass a belay test, equipping them with essential safety skills and responsibility. Additionally, we aim to prepare our climbers for a seamless transition into our Climbing Clubs, fostering resilience, teamwork, and a spirit of adventure along the way. Our coaches are dedicated to guiding each climber toward their personal best, helping them develop both as athletes and as members of our climbing community.

The interest list gives families early access to register for our Crag Akademie classes before spots open to the general public. When a new session is announced, families on the list are texted and emailed with a link to register.

Yes—within each group. We contact:

1. ÜG Members first, in the order they joined the list

2. Then non-members, also in the order they joined

All spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis once registration opens.

No—the interest list resets every session.
If you don’t get a spot, you’ll need to rejoin the list to be considered for the next round. We’ll include a new interest form link in all follow-up emails.

No problem! While you wait for a class opening, you’re welcome to bring your child in to climb. Our staff will show you how to supervise them—no experience necessary.
